How it Works:

1. Start sorting through your collection of books/DVDs/CDs you no longer need, read, watch or listen to. Let it go. Drop off your media at Joe's of Lafayette during the first week of June. Or simply bring it the day of the event on June 8th (5-9pm)

2. Invite friends, family, neighbors and colleagues. This is ALL AGES and kid friendly.

3. On Sunday, June 8th SWAP and dine with us. Dine at Joe's anytime between 5-9pm and enjoy a complimentary Book Swap. Be well fed and well read, as you can simply bring what you have and take what you love.

4. Entrance to the BOOK SWAP is FREE. Browse and SWAP the fun, eco-friendly way. Take home your favorites for FREE. Leftover books will be donated to Friends of the Lafayette Library for their monthly Book Sale.

5. Enjoy all-you-can-eat spaghetti ($6.99 adults/$3.99 kids), or order off the full dinner menu, while sipping wine/your favorite cocktail, and mingling with your charming, literate neighbors in Lamorinda.

5. Recyle & Rejuvinate your media collection. Relish new-to-you treasures while helping our community's library. What's there not to like?

BYOB: Please bring your own Book Bag or Backpack to carry home your new-to-you books, CDs and DVDs.
