"Thank you so much for the opportunity for my teen daughter and I to volunteer at  DIVA EVE event in Lafayette. That night was absoutely A BLAST! Now that I've experienced it firsthand and saw the pure joy on the women's faces as they walked away with big bags of clothes, we'll volunteer again in a heartbeat.

The whole entire evening and concept is great.  Friends who said they'd attend but missed it are kicking themselves  but await the next one.

I liked seeing you out there trying on beautiful dresses too and it was a kick to see how the ladies related to you."

-Tracy Ogden

"I had so much fun at your last event. and have already started going through my closet for the next one.  Sugar Cafe wants to host DIVA EVE as a special monthly soiree .  Let's put it on the calendars."

Salvation Army

The Salvation Army in San Francisco will take any worn, over-used, stained,
ripped or tattered clothing and recycle it. They bale the clothing and send
it to several companies who reuse the fabric for rags and carpet backing.

They also take ALL books. Some books get reused in their stores, some get shipped to other countries for reading programs and some get taken apart and recycled.

Finally, they take walked-out shoes and recycle them piece by piece.
